March/17/2008: My apologies for these 5 months without writing. I’ll try to update more often. First of all, we must inform you of our new e-mail address, the most effective way we know to get rid of spam is to change the e-mail. Take note:

At this time, we have continued working on our record, it’s being a slow process because of limited resources and time, but when it finally is completed, there will be well worth the effort.

Also in February, we took part of the I Barcelona Bluegrass & Old Time Music Festival, along with Tin Horn Hank, Aaron Pell and Lluis Gomez Trio. Sure there will be another edition of the festival next year, telling by the good response of the people this year. By the way, if any of you have pictures of that night, I'd be thankful if you were kind enough to send them in to our new mail.

 

It’s also noteworthy the March 1st show at Nashville Country Club in Terrassa, Barcelona. We thank the audience and the owners for their confidence and support.

October/19/2007: Today I'm gonna be make this short. We've changed the videos we had on Demo, for two more recent videos. Anyway you can find all our videos on this YouTube channel.

June/15/2007: Time for new tunes. We have removed the 2 demos we had uploaded, the more recent one was recorded 5 years ago. In them place you can listen to pair of new tunes recorded this spring, and has served as first contact with Retrofonic recording studios. The definitive recording process of the new collection is going on, although we don’t know how we could release it.

February/19/2007: We've closed the touring dates for the itinerant festival "The White Trash Caravan".

Besides, we're gonna be doing our solo show regularly. Check Schedule the whole program.

January/21/2007: We've closed the first date for The White Trash Caravan". May 12th in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Girona. We're working for some more dates all over Spain. There's a little promo text below about teh caravan. On Things there's uploaded the poster for that first date. Check the Schedule for other solo dates.

November/22/2006: Future plans: February 3rd 2007 we'll open a grand event: THE WHITE TRASH CARAVAN. If that name don't tell you anything, wait to see what it's about, something not to be missed. We'll be updating information in this website.

November/2/2006: It's been four months since the last update, but that doesn't mean there haven't been news. Otherwise, we've been doing some shows in Barcelona, like the inauguration of a photographic exhibit by Olaf Plà Gràcia. But mainly, we must emphasize the work we're doing at Retrofonic studios. We're in the recording process of a collection of tunes, 90% written by ourselves.

We still don't know how, when or what will come up from all that, but for sure we're so proud of the results we're getting.

June/29/2006: It's been an amazing weeks. Outstanding folks at "La Traviesa", after some starting sound troubles they were stompin the house down. The show at "El Ultimo Tren" was so funny. Playing in Cerdanyola is like playing at home.

May/25/2006: Just remember you that next Sunday may 28th we’ll be pickin’ and grinin’ in Torredembarra, so if you’re on the area, you can come to see us if you please, and if you’re not on the area, you can plan a Sunday of beach and Country Music.
One more thing: on Things you can see the flyer for the next show on June 3rd at El Último Tren, in Cerdanyola. We’re glad to be at such a famous venue, over five years after the last time.

May/21/2006: From these lines, we want to thank the folks of Green Onions and Lights INC. from Sant Feliu de Guixols for treating us so fine, and booking us to play in such a fine place with such a fine sound. It’s hard to find people with so much feeling about the music as them. Thank you, guys. See you at the festivals. On Things you can find the poster of that event.

May/8/2006: Next Sunday May 14th, it will be a year since Jimmy Martin passed away. On our show of this Friday 12th of May in St. Feliu de Guixols, we will do a part of the set in memory of the King of the Bluegrass, Mr. Good ' n Country.

We'll never forget you, Mr. Martin.

 

 

 

 

April/1/2006: After a couple busy weeks with our visit to Madrid and a show at El Barn d'en Greg, we have updated the site with some pictures of these days, and a 2003 photographic session with Olaf Plà Gràcia that we find interesting for the web. On Demo you can watch a video from the show at Irish Rover in Madrid, where we're performing Bill Monroe's "Bluegrass Twist". The schedule will be updated soon.

January/23/2006: Over ten years on the road playing our acoustic country music influenced by Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Ernest Tubb and others. We have travelled a lot of miles through Spanish roads and through the waves along our love affair with the radio.

Now, with the information highways there seems to be no distances, and The R.C. Brothers want to be part of it.
